Hello FSM Community

Wanting to get back into the hobby now that life is giving me some free time.  I'm in my 50's and the kids have grown up and life/work balance is conducive to picking up the hobby again.   Went to a garage sale and found a gold mine of models of mostly aircraft of various scales that I picked up for 5 bucks and plan to use them to hone up my skills.

Currently I'm butchering a 1:48 P-51 Mustang and on the hit list I have the following:

MIG-29 Fulcrum 1:72

Tornado 1:32

Bf 109 1:48

Hanomag 1:48

A WW-1 airplane and a formula 1 car.

Pretty good find.   The boxes were open but most of the sprues were still in their plastic so it seems everything is there.  This will keep me going for some time but most importantly I don't feel pressured not to make mistakes.   I made a lot on the Mustang but learned a lot as well.

Now I plan to lurk the forums and read articles.

Cheers

Frank
