Looks great.  Better than my first one.  I just started less than a year ago and have 3 builds under my belt.  They keep getting better and better.  I wish I invested in an airbrush a little sooner.  The results are massive compared to spray paint and brush painting.

BTW you guys put on a terrific Grand Prix.  Been to the Canadian GP at Gilles Villeneuve several times and you guys know how to throw a party!

Good luck

Paul

I already bought one for my second built, I'm eager to try it !

I went to the GP twice and it very is a good time. I'm glad you enjoyed your trip !

Nicely done for a first model.

Only thing I see is you might want to paint the belt and pulleys.

Welcome to the forum. Your model looks great, especially first your first ever. It is unfortunate that you did lose a piece but it happens to the best of us. Yes

My first Model

 Hi everyone,

I'm Alexander and I'm from Montreal (French Canadian). I just started modeling and I have my first model  in the books, a 1953 ford flipnose. As any first project a whole lot of things went bad. I lost a piece and had to replace it with something homemade ( That explaines the front bumber being slightly angled) and after that my cat manage to sneak into my working room and threw my model onto the ground ( Which is why my motor is slightly off centered). But overall I'm happy with the result  and I learned a lot. I cant wait to start the next one.

Which tip you wished you had back at your first model ?  1953 Flipnose

Excuse the dust in the pics, I'm still waiting for my cleaning brush and micro-fiber !
