Today I tried Mr hobby clear gloss Gx100 for the first time.  I brushed it over tamiya and it started removing the paint???? What did I do wrong?

Tamiya is an acrylic paint so any paint product that is not acrylic can have bad reactions with those. This is a way too simple of an answer and the better spot to post this question is the painting and airbrushing section. Basically you have used two incompatable products. You will have to repaint and then clear again with a clear that will not harm the Tamiya paint. There are several, but Tamiya makes its own clear and that would be safe.

I'm not sure that's it.I have used Lacquer and Enamel clears over Tamiya which isn't a true acrylic and Vallejo and Life Color which are with absolutely no problems.

Perhaps the basecoat wasn't completely cured. As was mentioned this is just the Intro section not everyone checks it out.See the Painting Section.
