Warm welcome!

Really bummed that you guys lost both your mag and your forum, but it's been really refreshing to see the influx of automotive projects here!

I do about 10% vehicles...mostly police/fire and service stuff, with the occasional Indy car or drag racer thrown in...but it's always great (and very inspiring) to see what other modelers are building.

Hope you enjoy your time here. It's a friendly lot, with very few chips on shoulders. Big Smile

Hello and welcome carbocher.... I like your forum name. Yes

I too started as a car guy but since being here I started participating in some of the group builds involving ships, armor, aircraft, etc.

Perhaps we could start a group build in a car or wheel related theme. Perhaps something like American wheeled vehicles would work. This would allow those still wanting to build millitary  and those wanting to build comercial or muscle cars could all participate.

Anyway just a thought. Once again, welcome and glad to have you here...

Ben

I'm a retired model builder from rural Indiana. Cars are my main interest, but always open to something new. I built a lot of tanks & airplanes when I was a kid but lost interest in all models when real cars & girls came along in the early 1970's. I took up modeling again in 1992 & seemed most interested in cars.  The closest I've come to building a military model in all these years is a recently finished Revells Rommels rod. I'm hoping FSA adds some auto articles.
