Welcome.  We have much better kits/tools/glues/paints etc available these days.  And the internet is a great source for help and info.

Thanks,

John

Welcome

Steve

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Hello all.

Just wanted to drop in and introduce myself. I used to model build when I was little (8-13 age range). Looking back on it now, everything I built was pretty awful. Only partially glued together, little to no paint, hardly any decals, etc. However, last year (I am 33 now) I caught a video on YouTube of a P-51 being built, and I was blown away by how wonderful the final product looked, and I was inspired to take up the hobby again.

I just finished putting together a Tamiya 1/48 Spitfire. It is my first model since I was a boy, and the only one I have ever finsihed. I will post some images later in a build thread to hopefully get some fedback.

I look forward to learning and hopefully contributing to the forum if I can.

Cheers!
