Hello everybody,

I am new to the hobby (relatively at least) and just joined up here a couple days ago.  I spent a couple years of my childhood building or trying to build models at least.  I recently picked up the hobby again this spring and have become absolutely obsessed with it.  I started out with just about every airfix starter set with paint and since June, I've been almost strictly building tamiya armor.  I recently bought a couple Bandai kits to try my hand in the sci fi realm.  Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello everyone!

Welcome!
If the Bandai kits you refer to are the Gundam series, they are indeed a lot of fun.  My son and I built a number of them.

Best regards
Rick

Right on friend!  Welcome to the hobby and welcome to the forums.  Both are addictive and very satisfying.  I look forward to your builds.

Thanks,

John

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Thanks for all of the hearty welcomes:) I really feel comfortable asking questions in this forum (just posted one in the armor section about sanding smooth 1/35 scale tank road wheels).
