Hello Mike and welcome to the forum. I have a couple 1/32 F-4's a Revell/Monogram and a Tamiya both yet to build. Now that was one workhorse of an airplane!
Look around in the different subjects as I'm confident you will find something of interest.

goldhammer Welcome aboard. Lot of Phantom Phanatics here. Finish them up and post up some photos. You'll find newer kits have a lot better detail, and in most cases better fit than in the past.

The Phantom was what the Duluth ANG was flying when I was a kid and really got me hooked. The kits I have are probably early 90s vintage 1/72 Hasegawa. Is there a better kit I should look at for this build?
The follow up will be a pair of 1/72 Tamiya F-16s in the current colors/configuration.
Welcome to the Forums Mike! Glad to have you with us.
If you need any help or have any questions just ask. That's what we're here for.
Enjoy!

I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.
I used to build quite a few airplane models when in college, but then life got in the way. Dental school, practice, family, etc. I recently was moving some things in the basement and found a pair of 1:72 F4s that I intended to finish with decals from the Duluth, MN ANG.
That inspired me to start looking around again. I'm not a newbie, but might as well be. The "hot" brands have shifted and some have gone away. Paint selection is vastly improved. Perhaps the biggest change is places like this. The ability to gain knowledge from others should really help to avoid some mistakes.
I'm sure I'll be lurking for a while until I have something to contribute, but looking forward to learning.
Mike
