Some Bio about me
Posted by Teenage Modeler on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 7:29 PM

Hi. I am a 14 year old. I just recently graduated 8th grade, and I am about to enter high school. Wonder how I can keep building models, when there's geometry, English Class, Biology.

Anyway, I used to live in the Philippines, but I moved to the USA about 3 years ago, 2018. I never really built a model in my old country, only Gundam models, since paint, and tools are expensive and rare. To be frank, the only modeller I knew at the time in my old country was my dad, and his friend.

It wasn't until I moved here that I started scale modelling. I live near Chicago, Illinois, in a suburb. I only built 1 model, which is an A6M3 Zero.

As of now, I am building a paper model 757-200 Delta Airlines. I am almost done, just have to add the gears and the antennas. Hopefully, I have some time during the summer to start and finish my Corvette. Cheers!

Made you Look

OK. In the stash: Way too much to build in one lifetime...

Welcome to the Forums! Glad to have you with us. Looking forward to seeing your work.

If you ever have any questions/problems, don't be afraid to ask for help. The members here are very knowledgeable and ready to help. A lot of them have been here for a long time and been in the same place. I've been building models of all types for 74 of my 80 years and have learned a lot from the members here. WWI and WWII fighters are my favorites followed by sailing ships and anything that strikes my fancy at the time and my wallet says OK.
