As they say, when one door closes (retirement), another opens. This means for me, that I've been able to get back with the modeling hobby. So, I have three scale models in the batting line-up, a 1/48 scale F-102, and F-106 (I served with the 48 FIS from 1974 to 1980).. I have a love/hate relationship with the "6". I also discovered I have a well preserved Monogram kit of Dale Earnhardt's Areo Coupe Monte SS. Lastly, on the bench there is a Balsa USA Smoothie XL RC model with one wing completed, and the other one should be done this coming week.
