aboard, Keith! Good to have you with us in the FSM asylum, and I hope you enjoy your time here. It's a great, low-key group with lots of different areas of interest and levels of experience. We love to share -- photos, tips and tricks and techniques...and sometimes ridiculous (or otherwise) stories. Dive in and live the madness! 
As to photos, they need to be hosted on a 3rd party site (such as Postimage, which I use -- simple and free!), then just insert into your post using the "Insert/edit image" icon [the landscape picture frame thingy] in the tools panel above your post. The actual code line you need to paste depends a little on the host site you use -- usually pretty simple to figure out, but if you have difficulties, just sing out and you'll find lots of (mostly-) helpful advice from the inmates...er, forum members here.
