HeyOh!

Just thought I'd intro myself. I've been modeling ever since my teens and I build anything that takes my fancy! My usual fair is anything pre-1945 with wings or armour but I also have a liking for wooden hulls, sails and tugs. I've dabbled in RC (but with a family I've found the cost prohibitive!!!!). My biggest thrill in this hobby is working out solutions and trying new techniques (there's always something new). My biggest problem is finding the time to disappear into the hobby room with out my wife and daughter giving me "the look".

A question for anyone who can answer: I recently finished Tamiya's Fairy Swordfish floatplane. I used a polyester 2 part resin to create the water but I chickened out and left the water calm. (i've never done a water diarama before!) Whats the easiest/best way to show swells/waves in this medium?

I know its long but hey I'm new!
