Greetings from the USA. I am from Panama City Florida and build 1/48 and 1/32 scale jet aircraft. I visited your area once, a long time ago. It was all work and no pleasure though.

Welcome! / Bienvenido!

I hope we can share some info that can take us a little "farther" from the usual topics on scale modelling. I do 1/48 planes, specially, Luftwaffe.
About your complain of only 4 hobbyshops, don't worry. In Mexico City we only got like 10 of them, and remember that it is a sure thing that Mexico City's population is 10 times bigger that the whole of Brunei's population; so our ratio is not that good.
Feel free to contact me via mail if you have any questions or need any particular help.

Ahh the ubiqutice play station, I'm sure its been the relief to many a modellers patiance, my daughter fortunatly likes to model with me and has been bugging me to get my/our workbench finished, she has a real talent for modelling in clay too.

I've never done any camo work ...yet. but if go to the figures area under the forums area I'm sure there are many that can help you out.

Keep your head up on that rig... MD

On my platform we produced about 20,000 m3 of oil per day. There are time I do bring out with me some models so that I can complete more rather than just 1 per month.

I am more into 1/35 tanks and 1/48 aircrafts mostly Tamiya. Last week manged to complete the T80 by Dragon model. The instrunction was poor and the fit was a constant problem. As we get used to modelling, most problems can be solved one way or the other. Once you paint them and applied some weathering .... you would not see the problem any more.

At home I have about 18 boxes ( 4 tanks, 8 aircraft, 1 submarine and the rest are figures sets ). If try to do the whole lot, surely the family will be left behind Smile [:)]

I have 3 daughters who at times when I am not around like to
fiddle around my modelling tools. Lately, they are not to bother to disturb them since I've bought them the PS2 !!!

My only concern is painting camo pattern on the 1/35 military figures. I wonder how I can overcome this. Dead [xx(]

Any idea ????

Hi everybody ! Shy [8)] I am from Brunei Darussalam ( Borneo Island ). I am 37 years old and have been into the modelling
hobby for 17 years. I work for Brunei Shell doing a week on/off on an offshore platfrom. My favourite subject are mostly WW II tanks and aircrafts. Big Smile [:D]

In my country, there is only 4 hobby shops. Inorder to get the latest realease, I either order from the internet or go to Singapore to get them.

Tamiya - That is what I have most. I began modelling using spray can and now I am using an airbrush. Not to say I've mastered it yet but it just take time to getting used to it.

Maybe next time I'll post some pictures of my collection.
