The address wasn't working because when the forum code converts the urls into a link (which can be clicked on), it was including the period. I edited the post to add a space between the url and the period and it works now. Smile [:)]

Hi Dominique, I also tried to access it but failed. Maybe there's a new web address. I'll check.

Regarding the Osorio MBT, I've found just one photo (the 1st prototype, camouflaged) that scanned and will e-mail to you. Can you please provide you e-mail address (mine is nlott@terra.com.br).

I've also found the Osorio Operator's Manual, but it's in Portuguese only and has drawings only. Could that be of interest to you ?

Regards,

Nelson

What am I doing wrong?

Hi Dominique, thanks for your message. I'll surely scan those photos for you, just give a couple of days.
The Brazilian manufacturer that produces the Osorio MBT decals is called "Decals e Books", its website is www.decalsebooks.hpg.com.br . I'm not sure if those decals are still in production, but I'll check. Stay tuned !

Nelson

Hi Nelson,

I'd be VERY interested to see those pics..! And those decals and instructions you are talking about would be great..! Who produces that?

Actually I worked for Engesa, the Osorio MBT manufacturer, before I joined Ford, but was not directly involved with the project. Photos were not allowed, but I have one or two photos of its hull (when I had the opportunity of driving it). A Brazilian decal manufacturer produced a set for the Trumpeter kit, together with instructions to correct some details. I'm not sure if it's currently available.

Thanks for the reply,

Nelson

Hi, I've been modelling aircrafts and cars for more than 30 years and I'm glad to be part of the FSM Forum. My main modelling interests are WWII (US and Luftwaffe planes) and old Ford cars - needless to say I work for Ford of Brazil.

If modellers from around the world need something from Brazilian vehicles or planes, just let me know.

Regards,

Nelson L. Ott
