Hey all,

FineScale Modeler Editor Matthew Usher and I will be in Loveland at the Nats this week. Look for our photo booth in the contest room and stop by and say hello. We love talking about models and modeling. Se everyone there.

Cheers, Aaron

The local rag in Longmont ran a terribly un-informed  article about it.  Never a word about the IPMS or that this was a national event.  It gave the impression that this was a collection of toys that people had slapped together!  I would not be surprised if local attendance of non-modelers was low, due to the absence of any advance publicity.

The writer was probably enjoying their legalized Mary Jane ;-) The photos that I have seen posted online make it look like it was quite a great show!

it was a blast. working it was fun. the hotel was great. final stats should be impressive. but i probably didn't have a great time since i came home with money in my pocket. OTOH i had to put my ice chest and suitcase in my roof rack to fit my builds and purchases in my forester. the TIGER collection was more than impressive.

Cadet Chuck, do you have a link to that article?

Did you like our Tigers Wayne? Sounds like you came home with a good haul, even if you did have money left afterwards... especially so I would say ;-)

Dirk:  No, unfortunately, no link.  The newspaper does have a web site but you have to pay extra to subscribe to it, and I don't. The paper copy is bad enough!  I only get it to keep up with what's going on in this little town, plus get a few daily laughs at the editorials.
