Toshi

As you see below, here are some photos in regards to placement of my model kits.  I actually donated four kits (Revell 1/48 B-25 Mitchell, Tamiya 1/48 Mosquito, and due to my TBI, I forgot what the other two kits were) to two handymen on our property as they are always helping me with things not related to repair work on the property.  Other than that, I found a way to make all the kits fit and still have room for many more.

The display I chose to utilize is something FSM forum members have described as well as seeing this being done on FSM magazine.

Toshi....your "War Room" looks awesome. Really love how you have displayed all of your builds. The rate you build we may need to build you a building to display them Big Smile

Thank you sir, I await the day when a shed can be built!  LOL!

Hey Toshi !

Got a weird idea . Can you make safety nets like on a carrier ? You could do the deck edge of a Generic Bird-Farm and swing the nets out from there over the edge of the opening . That way the danger of falling is mittigated . What do you think ?

I think that's a good idea and I'll definately look into it with Mrs. Toshi!

Toshi, you do good work and your models should be seen by more people. There are places to publicly display things, our public library in my case, the local airport teminal being another. I once remodeled my Office/Museum once and the Public Library had many display cases and let me display them for six weeks.

You do have a fine collection and public temporary display can solve part of the problem and also be rewarding for you and the viewers. Something to think about! Kids like me like to see things like this on display!

So how much longer til you're building again, my friend?

A two room condo sounds spacious compared to my current domicile lol.

I am looking forward to seeing you start a new thread soon.  :)

To Hodakamax,

A lot of my models are donated to several VFW's.  The vets really appreciate it as well as I enjoy sharing my builds with them.  I do like your ideas!  Thank you my friend.

Thank you for checking in with me.  I'm currently in bed rest with walking pneumonia.  I'll start to finish my lightning when I feel better.

Best Wishs, for a speedy recovery. Walking pneumonia, like any pneumonia, is not fun. Take your time recovering - its going to take longer than you will want it to anyway. I have been in your situation and it was not even remotely fun.  Follow your doctors orders and listen to your wife; they know better than you -no matter how well you think you feel.

My best wishes to you and your daughter, I'm glad and very pleased you're home now.  I'm not 100% healed yet and am very frustrated as I've never been sick this long.  Currently I have a hard time breathing and I cannot get rid of this cough.  My Doctor said to give it another month of rest and recuperation.  Thank you so very much for your concerns!

This really hit you hard. I wish you a speedy recovery with lots of rest. Just when you think you feel better you start doing things only to run out of steam half way thru. There will be time for the rest later but for now, vegetating is best.

Yes it did.  They almost put me in the hospital.  But I asked the Doctor not to.  The Doctor said I would need to get better in a week or else.  I'm just glad the antibiotics helped me.

So now my job is to chill out and do nothing.  Oh well.  Thank you so much for your caring words for me to get better.  It's greatly appreciate it!

I'm feeling much better.  Right now I'm doing a EEG home monitored scan.  Wires all over me with cameras in every room.  I've been having seizures, not a good thing.  But I'm hanging in there!  I hope to be back soon.  Thank you for checking in on me!
