The airplane didn't make it to the VAC show this weekend but the team is working to get the XP-82 to Sun n Fun in April.

There is at least one other P/F-82 undergoing restoration and it/they have Allison engines. The XP-82 is the only Merlin powered Twin Mustang to fly.

His biggest problem was finding a left turning Merlin since they only made 40, 2 for the XP's, 20 for the early productions and 18 spares.  He finally found one in Mexico City, and it turned out to be NIB.
