Got my Stimulus Money Today

I need to use it for state income taxes since I spent most of my saved tax money for initial stocking essentials and haven't worked my second job since Feb. Haven't gotten it yet though.

We had t pay over $5,000 this year.... what stimulus check?

Agreed, it's better than nothing. I just hope those in need are able to continue satisfying those needs.

Yeah, our total was $3800. I already paid the feds share in Feb. You're welcome 

Ours arrived a couple days ago.  My wife told me that it was going for bills and some food.  Any modeling things I need , caaaaaaaat food, or some othert groceries would have to come from my disability check.  Where the heck can I find paint for my F-15s?  

Out of what little work we had ro do for about a month.

If you use Vallejo Model Air, Hobby Lobby carries the USAF Modern Grays paint set by Vallejo. I believe that they do online orders

Got mine as well.  Quickly dropped a bit of it on Woodland Scenics Snow Flake Snow Shaker and a small file set!

A poorly-chosen misnomer (and I don't mean that Tojo came up with the name).  It's relief.

We received ours the other day. It's safely ensconced in the savings account. Other than those folks who need the money to buy groceries or keep the lights on, I don't imagine the money will go very far. Plus I don't see people rushing out to spend this new found"wealth."

Got ours but it'll be going to pay for medical expenses on 4 heart surgeries and a boatload of car repair bills.

Yes,sadly I realize that for many this money is sorely needed and not nearly enough.Hang tough everyone 

Yeah, I’m lucky to be still fully employed with no work stoppage in sight.  Plus I don’t have any debt, so people like me don’t need stimulus money.  (This is no time to be greedy.)

The thing is, to people who do need the money, it’s not near enough.  But it’s gonna cost us a mint to fund anyway.

And why the heck do those lingere ads keep popping up at the bottom of the screen?!  Oh wait, is that part of some stimulus check?

Since I'm semi-retired, the question is; money to savings? or money to printing costs? or maybe a new M1A rifle .  .  . ! yeah that would be great .  .  . But, lets see what the beloved wife says.  (Queue up the Jeopardy music) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .  Wife says; And the winner is, SAVINGS !!!

For the yotes, sage rats and jacks a mini 14 or AR would be cheaper.  Plus you don't get that annoying "ping" to tell them you're dry after 8 rounds

I hope you all get by with this benefit.  That's what it's intended for.  I feel for all of you that really need this.  Sure hope it helps.

     If and When I see mine I am going to pay down some bills. Then what I deem necessary will go for paints.

Everytime that I go to the government's website to check the status of my payment I get the following response; "Payment Status Unavailable". I was looking forward to using that money to pay my income tax.  Give with one hand and take with the other.

No sign of it yet.

For the yotes, sage rats and jacks a mini 14 or AR would be cheaper.  Plus you don't get that annoying "ping" to tell them you're dry after 8 rounds

 

An M1A does not go ping after 8 rounds as it is not an M-1 Garand.  It is a Springfield Armory semi auto M-14 that has been made since 1974.

I had a costomer Get him a Springfield M1a Socom CQB . He said it had to be a "black Op" so his wife would not fine out. I had all the paperwork ready for him to just sign. He sent his wife for take out dinner and came hauling a** over to my house ( I'm a FFL working out of my house as a side buisness) signed , paid ,shook my hand and ran out the door. Said he got home just in time to get it in the safe without her seeing it! lol

LOL! And us modelers think it’s hard to sneak in a new kit... I presume that his wife doesn’t have anything to do with the finances...

I will shortly need paint.  Any body know if we are getting another PPP (Paint Package Program) to stimulate me?

     I may be interested in one of those Black-Op deliveries though.  Who doesn't like a nice M-14?

No "ping" with the M1A. It uses mags. You're thinking of M1 Garland.

The Ruger checks the boxes for me.  For the edibles, have a tack driving 10/22 and a nice .308.
