Just wondering anyone else out there a fan of the show? Kinda stunned last night on finding out Tori, Kari, and Grant got the axe. Just looked at Discovery's website and no explanation, one guy claimed maybe they were dropped as a cost-cutting measure?

No friggin way?!!?!? Yeah, I'm a fan, and I just checked the internet after you posted this. The show says it going in a new direction. My guess is they asked for more money and didn't get it.

WHAT!?  We should riot or something!  Wink

I too am a big fan and they are 50% of the show as far as I'm concerned.  I'm sure ratings will reflect this "new direction".  Very sad.

Most likely a money thing. It's been on for what, 10 years or so? Seems to be running out of steam, and Discovery probably didn't feel like it was worth big $$$s any longer. Probably got told to cut costs, or the show was over.

Unfortunate, but not at all unusual as shows age and get close to ending their run in the TV world. I will miss Kari most of all Embarrassed

Yeah, I'm guessing it had to be money. Kinda sad that Discovery didn't allow them to come out and say goodbye themselves but had Adam and Jamie announce their departure. So I am wondering if there was some bad blood there.

Maybe they asked for more money and were told to take a a hike.

I felt the exact same way.  I don't watch every single one of their shows but I do like to see it when I'm able.  I caught the most recent episode where, at the very end, they announced the departure of the other three.  Very shocking indeed.  I like Jamie and Adam a lot but the other three were clearly having fun.  I liked how they conveyed that to the audience and it made it fun to watch.

I'll miss them.....and yes.....especially Kari.  DevilAngel  You're not the only one, MJames!
