Yea it's weird.  You have to use rich formatting and paste your link where you want it to be, then highlight it and hit the link icon in the toolbar (looks like two links of a chain) and it opens another window where you simply click submit and it turns your pasted text link into a hot link or click-able for the lay person.  

It took me a bit to figure it out and I wanted to be sure everyone got to see your great share.
