G'day and happy Australia day everyone!, Australia is a big country, with many weird and wonderful things and animals and other things, but one thing has recently came as a revelation to us Aussies, and that is that we are not immune to terrorist attacks like many of us (me not included) had previously thought. but, enough of that, I'm here to ask you guys if you have any questions about Australia in general, or about our culture or wildlife or our history , if you do, please post them up and i will be happy to answer them

Happy Australia day, mate! No questions here- I spent a few months working Down Under during 2007 in Sydney and got to do a bit of exploring thanks to an old college girlfriend. I'm looking forward to a return visit sometime in the not too distant future!

Happy Australia Day mate!  We met a wonderful Aussie couple vacationing on the ship we were on during an Alaskan cruise we took back in June. They even visited us in Florida and staid in our house for a couple of days. The wife and I have been invited to stay in their farm when we visit down under in the future.

Australia is on the top of my "Countries I would LOVE to visit" list. Definitely gotta go see where "Mad Max" was filmed!

Is it true that General Motors might be doing away with the Holden brand of automobiles? I believe the Pontiac GTO that Bob Lutz gave us, and the recently deceased Chevrolet SS (fine cars, by the way)were based on Holdens.
