Courtesy - I am glad it isn't dead .

 I write this in response to Knight Templar's thread about the " Hobby Shop Incident ".

      This is Not a Gentleman .This man is an absolute EXAMPLE to all who read his thread . Me , well I try to be fair and honest and even a little maudlin sometimes .

     I got a rude shock from a shop I frequent the other day . Like most I have , By chance or Intention have a skeleton in my closet . ( This one I am not ashamed of , But folks don't understand it ) I walked in and I heard a name I haven't heard since I was putting the first wife through Medical School , in Atlanta , Georgia !

   Boy , was I horrified . I have a unique standing in the community where I live now .The Landlady knows because she is my Legal Power of attorney for Anything if I go Botsa !

     Well I turned and asked " Are you Nuts ? They said quite simply , " We Know who you are .That always showed and we , for one will be eternally grateful " . We certainly didn't expect to run into you in this town . I said " Where do you think I work ? " Oh, at the *&^%$#$%^&* Museum ! " " We love you and will never forget where you were those many years ago . And what you did for charity ""  Giving up a special gift so others might live , isn't taken lightly by those who know you and will never forget " .

     I could've crawled under a tree or curb if one had been available . I did not do what I did because I wanted to toot my horn . I , like Knight Templar , Did what was right at the time . A special talent died that day .That's okay .I did what my gut said was right . Knight Templar You are one great Human Being ! !   That's why I like being here .What a fine group of folks .They say you are judged by the company you keep . Well , that's a relief .Because I keep company with the best !         T.B.
