To bring the actual reason the thread was started , i had no idea how to recieve or get different colors on thre stars that appeared next to the avitar, i see that i now have four stars all grey, and from the info given here i'm proud of that. I try to only post on things i'm knowledgeable about or can contribute positive feedback so the stars i have earned are for being a positive part of this community, if they never change color i'm cool with that. Just having a little fun.

I dunno about you guys but,  after all that has been said, I really think pordoi deserves some more strudel.

As far as the stars go, that was something that was revamped in the latest forum change a few years back. At one point before then, the members actual post count was displayed, as well as a physical location (which could be quite helpful when making recommendations as not all folks here are able to access Michaels, Hobby Lobby, etc.)Anyways the stars were part of the last forum upgrade and their actual meaning is more arcane now. It was explained when asked about by the mods & admin types, but being such an important subject, I of course immediately forgot all that was explained...

Oh yes, I forgot about rating the posts with stars... and yeah, there were tons of one word posts just to inflate certain members post counts. And yes, some folks here are best left on their own. Real life has enough challenges to elevate my blood pressure. A hobby website does not need to add to that. Like the title here says, nothing important... ;)

As long as I'm a 5-silver star general, who cares. I'll  get my gold star(s) eventually. LOL!
