Ol' Roscoe was a fine actor to have played down and been the dipstick he played on that show.

 In my 72 years ;

  I have learned that some of the best " Ole Fools " are indeed fine actors in other settings . He gave me and the kids many a fine laugh . May he rest in peace .

Always loved his roles in various movies; grew up watching him as ol' Roscoe. RIP!

Yeap, I remember him as Roscoe and then discovered him in the awful movie 'Attack of the Killer Shrews' on MST3K where his hero was one of the better parts of the film. He also did a couple of pretty good episodes of the 'Twilight Zone' too.

YEAO! Looking at his entry in the Internet Movie Data Base his first movie was in 1950 and last in a movie in pre-production in 2015!!! Now that's a career! Plus 'Return of the Killer Shrews' I've got to look this one up!
