A Good Man's Passing .

No , He was not my father . He was DAVID J. ALBRIGHT .Who was he ? He was the president emeritus of the New Braunfels, TEXAS, Rail Road Museum . David was the one that rekindled my love and interest in things Train Related , both in model form and the history thereof . I had lost my missus the month before , and was moping around a train show years ago in a Wheel-Chair and Dave told me I needed a hobby besides model ships! With like minded folks my age or younger .

I joined The N.B.R. R.H.M.S and am now Vice President for modeling at the self - same Museum ! Walking around too ! You see , David turned out to be someone at my age I could look up to  .Sometimes we all need that . So in his eighties David has passed to that engineers console in the great beyond . David, my friend, May you have silver rails and blue skies ahead . I'll miss you .   Tanker-Builder
