Splitting the Sun
Posted by Scarecrow Joe on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 9:19 PM

So, the other day I woke up early and headed to a local beach catching this curious scene at sunrise.  Ive never seen this and thought it look pretty cool.  I'm not a landscape photographer so bare with me.  Had a chance to use the Tokina 11-16 in my 7D2. Thought of posting since Ive seen a few folks here interested in photography.

Beautiful pictures.  In the first one it looks like the sun is sucking in the the darkness and clearing the way for its arrival.  Ok,  i'm a little weird.  Thanks for posting.

Not weird at all. A similar thought occurred to me when I saw this. Thanks for looking!
