Karl;

    You better really look at the photo . I think your Long Haired Daschund thinks your nuts for sticking that round camera thingy in his or her face .       T.B.   P.S At least my shorthair thinks that way . Out comes the camera , disappeared goes the weenie dog !

My wife had a Daschund when she was little and it disappeared from her yard one day never to be seen again.  So she's thinking about getting another one.  I'm partial to German Shepherds as I had two of them.  But, a little "hot dog" would be OK with me. Either way, it won't be long now.

Cadet Chuck,  ever since the wife and I were little kids, we've had pets of all kinds constantly in the house.  We never let much time go by without replacing a lost pet.  I guess it's just that we are "getting along" in years and we had both of these cats since they were a few days old (17 years ago) and they have helped us through several rough times.  We have been talking about getting another cat or a dog.  My wife had a Daschund when she was little and it disappeared from her yard one day never to be seen again.  So she's thinking about getting another one.  I'm partial to German Shepherds as I had two of them.  But, a little "hot dog" would be OK with me. Either way, it won't be long now.

Jim-

We have had many loving cats over the years and it is hard to lose one.  We have always replaced them by adopting a homeless cat from the local humane society, and it has always worked out well.  Good luck, try it!

Gimme a pigfoot, and a bottle of beer...

It's amazing how Grumpy Cat has been turned into a franchise for his or her owners and has made them millions,he's everywhere and on everything. That's pretty good,thanks for sharing,there are hundreds online.

Maybe sarcastic, but also true--as the Jack Russell terrier in the house can affirm.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!   Thanks, I really needed that.  In the past month, we have had to put our two cats (each was 17 years old) to sleep.  Needless to say the house seems empty without them being under foot all the time.  My wife has been going through photos looking for ones with the cats to make up a group photo for the kitchen wall.

As someone owned by a few of the walking hairballs, and they wait on the hood every morning for breakfast, that is perfect and SOOOOOOOOOOOOO true.

Got to quit trying to drink coffee around the keyboard/moniter, but I never seem to learn..........
