Movie Recommendation
Posted by templar1099 on Friday, January 8, 2016 8:39 AM

I saw a movie last night that I haven't seen in decades. Thought it might be of interest to some of the members of these forums, nostalgic or discovery. " King Rat". Thoroughly enjoyable.

James Clavell, right?

That is a good movie, I haven't seen it in a very long time.

You are indeed correct Mr. Morrison, it was a Clavell novel. I wasn't aware.

I know you would be interested.

Nicolas Roeg the director is an auteur. If you've seen Don't Look Now, or The Man Who Fell to Earth, or Performance. He's a cinematographer first. He was the second unit cine on Lawrence of Arabia.

If Nicolas Roeg was the cinematographer, definitely !

I haven't seen everything he produced, but enough to want to watch Walkabout.Geeked
