If It is Manny, Its sad that he would sink to this level just to "get square" with FSM. I mean its not like we banded together to get him banned. I still have fond memories of "Death in a courtyard" A great diorama builder.

I well remember another "banned" member (not me) who booked a whole series of usernames.

Why do I get a feeling it's Manny...

Likewise. probably because MM66 speaks/posts in a very similar style. We all have our own peculiarities in posting. Speech patterns so to speak.

Thats what i thought. The only thing that confused me was the join date of 2013. Why wait until now. And also, why join under yet another name, Jake Reacher.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Nah....

I'd be much more inclined to believe it's "JDice"/"JimD"/"JimmyDell"/"ProfessorDeath"/"FJ" and whatever other aliases he's used.

He's just trolling for attention, my guess is if he's ignored he'll leave...

Sad part is if he's who I think he is he's one heck of a modeler and a very knowledgeble guy when he's not being annoying.

Yes indeed. But then again that guy has been banned again and again.

What a mess he's caused. Now I gotta pay attention to the dates of these older threads with responses posted by modelmaker66 before opening. No point in seeing responses from threads started a year or older. ARRRGH!!!!

It's easy enough to open a sub-forum, go directly to the oldest post/s & start working backwards, which I suspect is what's been happening.

Well, you'd know. Wasn't that the year this forum started. I joined in 2007.

Young Hunter sleuthed out that the ten posts which Hunter tracked down were from then, with a small number of replies that ended them shortly after.

He's just trolling for attention

Hmmm.....For specific topic threads or just any old thread?

Seems more like any old, inactive thread is the target.

A zombie thread in "Armor" from 2003!, yes the year John Gruden took his revenge on the Oakland Raiders. That must have took some effort.

Seems to be a definite fascination by some for the Zombie year 2003 .............Surprise

Hi Andrei,
I'm no expert on the He 177 but I would imagine that the cockpit would be RLM 66, a dark grey. HTH.

No, not the ballgame, but finding a thread that old.

I see your point there, G.

Thinking back, now I remember using the tool we are talking about to find older posts where I knew for sure who the poster was as well.

Come to think of it, once I used it to find one of my own old posts.

Geez, now I'm missing that tool even more. Smile

Goose, I'll look into a related app. Thanks. Geeked

It's really funny. My love, yes love of this forum is based on the motley crew involved.

Usually when a lump of memory about a subject perks up in my mind, it's in the context of "Bish had some thread about the Falklands when the FG.1 was deployed there."

So I'd look at Bish's posts.

I miss that feature. I think one reason it might be gone was that when threads got deleted by the mods, you could work a round around to get back into them in the admin files through the "previous posts" link. Then they fixed that.

That's an interesting theory.

Thanks for commenting, G. For some reason it feels good knowing I'm not the only one who misses that feature.

You definitely aren't the only one who found the feature useful. I'm kinda curious how many actually used the feature to check threads before posting.HmmSurprise

I was rather surprised to see several threads pop up in the "Your Discussions" tab, one of which was over six years since the last reply. (Good Golly! How long have I been on this forum?)

Sprue-ce Goose

I used to check the thread author's FSM bio for the date of the most recent post.

Unfortunately, I see that is no longer possible with the current FSM forum softwareBang HeadBang Head

Yes, and weren't we able to see "view members recent posts" or something like that? I think I used it here to verfify a suspected spammer one time and a troll another. Pity that's gone too.
