Saw the news this morning:

Even though I have never read the first book (yeah, I know right?), I did buy the second one.

Haven't read the second, but TKAMB is a great, powerful book. Turned into an exceptional film, too, with Gregory Peck. Sad to hear of Harper Lee's passing.

"Book was better than the movie".

Yes and she also was quite involved in the "In Cold Blood" story with Truman Capote.

Atticus Finch, worst lawyer ever...

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

To Kill a Mockingbird is the ONLY book I have read in my lifetime more than two times (and I mean for pleasure. Manuals, rule books, reference books, etc. don't count.) I believe it is such a perfect piece of writing. I KNOW what is going to happen, but I can never seem to put it down none the same. Great story, beautifully told, with powerful characters. Anyone should want to be more like Atticus Finch.

I read both books last summer. I don't know how I made it through school with out reading TKAMB.

Both are very powerful and important books.

I was saddened to hear of her passing.
