Grandma died yesterday.
Posted by Cobra 427 on Friday, February 26, 2016 7:15 PM

Hello everyone. I'll try to keep this short and sweet. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but my grandma died yesterday 20 after noon. She was going downhill for the last week, and she wasn't doing good for a while. But one day my aunt, and uncle went to see her at the nursing home, but she wasn't there. After asking about it they finally told them that she was in the hospital. She had trouble breathing, and it was a surprise since we almost lost her in 2014, but she recovered. She hasn't been doing good emotionally for a while. She wasn't eating, or drinking anything, and her kidneys started shutting down. She wasn't feeling good physically, and she had Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. It finally got to where she couldn't breathe.  She took her last breath while I was standing beside her. I don't think she was even aware that we were even there. This is a very sad time for me as I was the closest grandchild to her since I saw her the most.  I don't know when I'll be back, but after I get done here tonight I'll be gone for a while. Thank you all for reading.

Maybe a picture of a squirrel playing a harmonica will make you feel better?

My prayers to you and yours.

I think she was lucky to see her grandchildren grow up. That's not such a sure thing any more. I'll probably be 70 by the time if/ when I see any.

That made her happy.
