A couple of years ago we went to a show and she picked out more kits than I was going to get.

My wife cringes every time I bring a kit out of the stash and says "when did you get that?" I smile and say “oh I've had that one since before we met” (almost 18 years now, that won’t work for too much longer). However she forgets the kits she buys for Christmas and my birthday, I enjoy reminding her.

Funny thing though, when our Hobby Town was closing she grabbed more kits off the sale table for me to get than I did. I can't wait to get her down to the SLC contest. I'll be interested to see how many kits she picks for me to get Stick out tongue

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

As long as the missus keeps buying stuff for the house, I'll buy a kit or supplies... Whistling

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

You guys actually let your wives know about your stash??!!  Whistling Propeller

She doesn't yet know about the one in my office. And with the recent purchase of Moebius' Jupiter 2, I think I've reached capacity there too.

It's fair though. She sneaks in her newest cooking gadget, and I my latest "got to have."

Okay, how many of you have modeled a scale?  Sorry... couldn't resist :-)

All these decades, and first I've heard of that one. Surprised it never occurred to me as twists on words and phrases usually come second nature.

I am now enlightened, thank you, Don.

Something fishy about that.

About a month later and that one just registered. I'm slow sometimes.

She knows about it, but she also encourages it. A couple of years ago we went to a show and she picked out more kits than I was going to get.
