Anyone interested, I saw " Trumbo " last night. Bio-pic starred Brian Cranston. I forgot or never realized just how prolific a screen writer he was in addition to his novels.

I have not yet seen that movie, but do want to see it. Was that his actual surname, Trumbo? I'm just curious because when I was watching "Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo" on my days off last week, during the titles... 'screenplay by Dalton Trumbo- based upon Ted Lawson's book'.

Yeah like a friend of mine... his family went from Unan to Union upon arrival and processing thru into this country... LOL!
I was actually though referring to if themovie used his actual name and not something fictionalized "inspired by actual events", if you know what I mean.
And no, "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence" is another movie I never had the chance to see, but really would love to watch one of these days.
Yes Stik, it's a real bio-pic. Focus is on him and the Hollywood 10.
