My guess is that someone at Revell found a box of these things in the warehouse somewhere (a where-house?) and they decided to put them in the boxes they send out replacement parts in, as a goodwill gesture.
I build 1/48 scale WW2 fighters.
Have fun.
A teaser for a new release maybe??
If so, then somone lost their replacement in Toshi's package as well!
Hi;
Could it be that someone had it on their hat and didn't see it fall into the package ? T.B.
Of a car that was first introduced 7 years before that.
Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
That makes it an extremely rare pin commemorating the 10th anniversary of the 50th anniversary!
Eric
That anniversary was almost 10 years ago!
GMorrison It's to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1957 Chevy Bel Air. How it ended up with you is weird. Thats like a typical eBay story. You should model a 57 Nomad and put the pin on the base. Revell makes one...

Mediocraties - my favorite Greek model builder.
Toshi just got one as well!
If that was a fiftieth commemorative, when would that pin have been made? Wasn't Chevy introduced in about 1920? That would make the pin a 70s thing, maybe.

I know a couple of guys on here got presents from squadron but never heard of one from Revell. Congrats. I've needed parts for a couple of kits but they were out of production and no extras in stock. Had to scratchbuild them.

I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.
Wow that is way too cool. I love the tri Chevy cars, specially the 55.
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
Either Revell is trying to "buy" my loyalty or someone is missing a lapel pin. I had ordered exhaust stack for the H-13 two or three weeks ago They showed up two days ago. Oh well. Into the spare box. That helo is long done and besides, you can't see them anyway.
But, in the box there was a surprise. Sort of like Cracker Jacks. This 50th anniversay commemerative lapel pin for Chevy. I am in tall cotton, now.
