Congrats,

I've lived in houses older than your country, but there isn't much cachet in living in a room where the ice is on the inside of the windows & the bedrooms are colder than the fridge in winter... Stick out tongue

The English town I now work in was first recorded in 700 AD... still a dump though Sad

I now live in a village first mentioned in the Doomsday book 1086.... Wink

Happy Birthday Carmel. I was woundering if that was Clint as well. I didn't realise it was carmel until someone mentioned it.

Unfortunatly, most of our towns and cities are so old, its impossable to know exactly when they were established.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Youngsters Wink We were incorporated in 1906 after a certain railroad baron started developing this place. Although there had been folks here before for centuries... the natives, the Spaniards, the Mexicans...

Is that Clint on the stage?

Pikers,my house was built in 1796. But we got stuck with Buddy Cianci for mayor.

And we had a great parade. One of our former mayors was the Grand Marshal.
