Just saw it opening night. Best Star Wars Movie ever imo.

Also saw it last nite. Best? I won't say that, but certainly top three of the Eight now made.

That's good to hear. I'm not a HUGE fan but I do enjoy them. I was disappointed with the Force Awakens though. All seemed to be a bit rushed. These people meet and 2 minutes later they are bantering like they've known each other a lifetime. Small thing but just seemed odd to me:) Looking forward to Rouge One though...the space combat/dogfight scenes looked pretty cool in the trailers!

Surprised my daughter and took her this morning to see it.  It was a great movie.  They did a fine job with it.  The other cool thing were the previews!  New for 2017....another Pirates, Gardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and something new with Cars!

If anyone was wondering about Rogue One....don't!  You will not be dissappointed!

I'm going Tuesday.  The boss is taking a co-worker and me to the Imax showing.  Part of the Xmas bonus.  With new ones coming out every year now, I'm hoping this will become a Xmas tradition.  I've been told by a spoiler that the plans will be hid in an R2 unit, and the sequel has already been released.  I hope I enjoy it as much as you have.

I was working for an aerospace company, and we were working on protecting military hardware from laser attack.  We decided to all go as a group to a matinee performance of the original star wars.  We did make up the time by working extra hours, but it was fun going with other folks who really understood warfare in space.

It is a fun movie, watch the original before hand to see if you can spot some of the same characters in scenes. This movie is virtually episode 3.9 taking place days before Luke meets Obi-Wan.

I have seen it twice (which represents the fewest number of times I have seen any Star Wars movie in the theater). I thought Rogue One was great - better than all the others except The Empire Strikes Back and A New Hope.

I be seen it twice now. Loved it very much, and agree about it being among the top three in the series. Now I eagerly await its' release on disc so I can watch this and the original (where Han shot first and fired the ONLY shot) back to back. Vader's scene in the ending of Rogue One will lead into the original even better I think...

Yep, can't wait for it to come out on disk. I usually take a weekend out to watch them all. I think i amgoing to have to take out somelong weekends by the time this and then Ep VIII are out.

Gotta agree with everyone here.  The family and I saw it just a couple of days ago and we liked it a lot.  On a side note, I'm a big fan of Forest Whitaker and I wished his role could have been more prominent but oh well.  It was fun seeing all the characters you were familiar with from Episode IV.

I finally got to see it last night with my son. Loved it - especially the very last scene before the credits.

I loved the machine gun blaster too!

Much like the older man at the beginning of The Force Awakens, he was an interesting character that could have been played by virtually anyone and then was gone in a blink of an eye. Almost like they could do an expanded movie on his adventures. There are literally 20 years between the end of episode 3 and this movie and thes the start of episode 4. What did Obi Wan and Yoda do? Didn't train Luke.

Another back story movie about how Han and Chewie became a team.

I've seen to twice so far. Once on opening weekend & once after Carrie Fisher passed.  The reaction to Princess Leia at the ended stunned some of the audience  Very good overall.  My buddy goes on & on about the plot holes, but I laugh.

Duct tape is like the force.  It has a dark side & light side and it holds the universe together.

I really enjoyed it.  It didn't dovetail into the beginning of Episode 4 as easily as I hoped it would.  The "diplomatic mission" cover is really not credible.  I had imagined Tantive IV picking up the transmission while passing by.

But really, it's a storyline intended for youth from the beginning.

I build 1/48 scale WW2 fighters.

Have fun.

It varies from the Disney-ish to very good.  This was the second part of season 3 and it's getting within a few years of Rogue One and A New Hope.  If you look closely at the trailer, you'll see some things from Rogue One (Saw Gerrera, Death Troopers, etc.).

Oh, and Obi-Wan Kenobi... Surprise
