Did any of you guys know about this ? First I heard,it looks like it's going to be awesome.Definitly will be on my list to visit as it will be close by.

Well.... lets hope it happens. It's been trying to raise funds for about 8 years. As the Government isnt putting money into it, just the land, it's all 501(c) money.

 

 Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Sounds like it would be as good or better than the one in Carlisle Pa. where they hold PennCon every year. The info says that there will be rooms available for events. The local club could try to get those rooms for their contest.

Tojo, it's in the middle of September. The museum can be seen from the turnpike as you get to the Carlisle exit. There's tanks and artilery on an outside trail too (if the weather is nice). I'll let you know as soon as I can get the date. It wasn't posted on the website yet. The contest is inside the museum and is free to entrants of the contest. It's great because after you get your entries set up on the tables and check out the vendors, you can roam around the museum for a while. They have a restaurant there too with GOOD FOOD.
