You can't be serious--a number is a number; it doesn't mean a thing.

If it makes you feel better, I just built the Tiger 666 and it went together like buttuh.. Devil

Well, from what I'm reading about it the AMX-13 in various versions has been in service for over forty years with more than 7000 produced and exported to 25 different countries. Plus the chassis has been used for SPGs, AA platforms, APCs and other purposes.

I'd say it was a pretty 'lucky' design if anything.

Plus the main reason to built it? The same reason you build anything... it's cool looking.

This past weekend at AMPS, one member brought in one of the old Heller 155mm SP AMX-13 kits. That build was really nice.

The only reason why I won't get a model of the AMX-13 is, well, due to the number "13".  I just don't feel comfortable with that number.  What do you guys think about the number "13"?  I feel uncomfortable building an AMX-13.  The AMX-13 looks very cool with the oscillating turret, but the number is what's keeping me away.

I know most of you are probably laughing at me right now, but man, how can I solve this fear?  I really want to build that tank.  I just hate that number.

Pffftt..... people still believe in all those supersitions? Build it already!

Alright alright.  I created a new post in general discussion.  I'm thinking about creating a cutaway.

Disregard this post.

You're kidding right? You just build the kit. That is how you get past it. But I personally think you are pulling our leg.
