Has anyone received the February issue? I saw it at a Hobby Shop today.
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
Feb or March. I got the Feb issue a bit late, end of the first week of this month. The March issue has come this morning.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Thanks Bish. I'll give them a call Monday.
You know you can't rush the Postal service, right? I wouldn't make a big deal out of it just because you saw it in a hobby shop. You'll get yours soon enough. Patience, my friend...
Yes, but our overseas subsriber has already received the latest issue in the mail. You'd think that they are all distributed at the same time from the same point and that the further they have to be delivered, e.g. overseas in the U.K., the longer it would take. I am willing to bet that PJ lives far closer to the FSM's distribution point than Bish. It can't all be USPS. I consistently send packages and mail clear across the country from CA to GA by USPS in only a few days.
F is for FIRE, That burns down the whole town!
U is for URANIUM... BOMBS!
N is for NO SURVIVORS...

And if PJ is definetly talking about the Feb issue, then he should certainly get in touch.
Yes the feb issue with the Cosair on the cover. This is not the first time that my issue is either lost or skipped. I live in Florida and the destribution center is closer to me than the UK then why the delay? Just saying......
PJ,
I can't say that this is the problem that you are having, but late last year, my subscription had been converted to digital only. I do not know why, but, it happened. Due to posting on a thread in this forum, I was contacted by Becky James from Kalmbach publishing. She took care of the problem very quickly. Shoot her an email: bjames@kalmbach.com and explain what is happening with your subscription.
Hope this helps.

Got mine here in Canada last week.
You have never been lost until you've been lost at Mach 3!
We in Alaska don't get our issues til the 10th to the 12th of the month. But there is definitely something wrong if our Canadian friends got the March issue already.

I'm not in Canada but in the UK, i do have teh March issue. It been the usual case that i get my issue in the last few days of the month.
Thanks Bruce. I just sent her an email.
All the more reasons why I don't subscribe to FSM. $30 for a 1 year subscription is too high. I've got better magazine subscriptions far less than that.
I have noticed that my issues have been arriving a bit later than "normal" , they used to show up a few days before the local newsstands, now its sometimes a week after the first. I live in the Northwest of the lower 48. I chalk it up to weather however when I order from an online store from the Northeast that gives a 5 to 8 day window of delivery sometimes its up to 15 days before i get my delivery, weather or not. Figured it was just my dumb luck.
we're modelers it's what we do
Looks like the fantastic USPS lost/damaged my magazine since according to FSM Customer Service I should have received it around the 6th of January. A USPS employee told me that once in a while a magazine will get hung up on one of the machines and may have gotten trashed. My replacement will be enroute shortly.
Glad you got it sorted out, PJ.
As it goes, linear distance doesn't mean as much as the post office itself. Just with general mail, I live in the far western suburbs of Chicago. I have an aunt that lives near Mount Vernon, IL, about 5 hours away. I have some more family in Peoria, about 2 hours away. I've had stuff from my aunt arrive before stuff from my dad in Peoria. It just depends on how the trucks run from one distribution center to another and then to the local offices. There seems no rhyme or reason, but I am guessing that trucks run at a certain time and if you miss a truck it might be a day or more before the next one. Good luck. I expect my March issue any day now, but I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't until the weekend.

John, no doubt that the USPS lost my magazine, they also lost one of my credit card bills. I just got the late payment notice from the credit card company. Not the first time this happens.
According to FSM Customer Service the March issue is not supossed to go out till February 6.
