I pre-ordered back in, like, May, and I know it says available in November, but November is on its last days and I haven't heard anything about it....

I preordered on Oct17th. Print and digital. Haven't seen the print issue nor have I gotten an email about the digital. Went to check online and customer service is offline until after Nov 30.

Same here, ordered print and digital in August.  Saw the print copy in a bookstore last week.  Nothing on either the print or digital yet.

Haven't received mine either but I went to my LHS and they have it. The owner said he received them about 2 weeks ago.

I got the issue last week at my walmart. Its pretty well done issue, the article about rigging biplanes in it was well done.

Guys,

Thank you for your interest in our new special issue, Great War Scale Modeling.  We are experiencing some delays in processing and mailing due to our recent change in customer service from Tampa, Florida, to Big Sandy, Texas.  We apologize for these delays and appreciate your continued patience.

Our Customer Relations Supervisor, Becky James, would be happy to look into your specific order and get back to you personally.  Please redirect your concern to bjames@kalmbach.com and include your complete name and address.  She will be happy to assist you.

Cheers, Aaron

Honestly, I see no reason why this issue needed to be pre-ordered in print. They come out in print to the public eventually so why bother. I think it’s a ploy for the publishers to gain profit from pre-orders when they know fully well they’re going to be released to the public. I can see digital print being released as a pre-order but print?

I agree with you..I did pre-ordered out of excitement, and sort of to make sure I remember to get it, as I don't do too much retail shopping.

My problem now is that there is no record of me ever having ordered it according to the magazines record, so now I need to search my records to find it...I'm sure I went through with the order, but whether or not it went through on their end is where I have my concerns....

Well...since I can’t find any record of them charging my card over the summer, I’ve decided to “reorder” it.  This time, I ordered the digital copy as well as the print copy.  I found a new problem.  I clicked the link in the email to go over to zinio.com that would take me to my digital dlibrary and I could start reading....well, it prompted me to log in, and when login was successful, a message that appeared that “the coupon had expired.”  ....oh well, I guess I can wait a few more days for Becky to reply to my email....

I ordered both in August (Great War and Damaged) and haven't received either one.  Just sent e-mail to Becky James...
