Some Vintage Kits At SFO
Posted by keavdog on Friday, February 1, 2019 11:31 AM

I was up at our San Francisco office and while passing through the airport I noticed this series of displays of nostalgic items.  One was models - pretty neat so I thought I'd share

Other cool stuff in the United terminal

Thanks,

John

The UAL boarding area has a brilliant art curator program, I assume that's where those kits were.

Those British aircraft are 1/3 scale from the Goosedale Model Aviation Collection. I think they were RC flyers.

A while back there was a selection of aircraft models from the Nut Tree. I assume they are in storage with the SFO Museum.

Thanks for posting.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

That is very cool, John. I especially like the vintage kits.

I'm with Bill and Tojo, thank you for posting this.
