Hmm all these cats and Timmy is nowhere to be found, I wonder if he fell into one of them cat traps himself.

Why do yuo guy's alway's wait untill I can't respond, before getting to the good conversation's ????????

( Yea .... I do occasionally get stuck in a box ........ but it usually has part's in it.)

I will spare you all the bordom of posting picture's of all my cat's .  Last time I did that, it took up the whole page.   But here's Gabby helping with a project.

And Syd ( the Black cat) NOT HELPING !!!

( Me - Me in the background was " helping" , but managed to look innocent just in time.)

Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"

Cute pics, Timmy. Thanks for sharing!

Well, I am babysitting Sammie again. This time, probably for a longer spell. My friend has relapsed and she is in the hospital again. Always something with her, the poor girl.

I cleared a spot on my bench for Sam but I did so just after he jumped up and couldn't find room to sit. He was not too happy about that. Now that I have a spot for him, he has not tried. I put some tissue paper down for him hoping he’d plop down. Maybe one of these days he’ll try again. I will let you know how it works out.

So, here is what happened last night. Sammie jumped up onto my bench, nosed around, nearly crushed a box of parts I am working on, (Lol--would not have been his fault), and paid no mind to the tissue I put down for him. Shortly after that he jumped to the floor, walked 15 feet to where my paint booth is, jumped up onto the chair, and perched. I thought... hmm. He wants to be near me, but he wants to sit in a chair. 10 minutes later he went upstairs for some nibbles and came back down. During the time he was gone I move the chair next to mine. And behold--he used it.

It was nice to have him with me and not in the middle of things. Yes Sam is squinting because of my blinding LED light. He may be a little sleepy too from the hard work of play and digesting the treats he had.

I made the mistake of getting into fish keeping... which happens to not exactly be the cheapest hobby, and im up to three tanks, turns out its about as addicting as modeling

Uh Oh !

Be careful there. I started with one five gallon tank in 1965.Went to a whole 1000 gallon wall in 1980 .It kinda grows on ya ! Would you believe that wall's sides were at that time, an inch and a half thick?

Now the shocker! All the fishes were at one time or another given to me by our zoo,or I fostered fish for them .All native species . You'd be surprised how beautiful native fishes are in a natural ( even synthetic natural Setting ). They can be awesome !

The real beauty of a tank in the workroom area? You look at the fish during a break from a difficult time in the model build,You instantly relax .WARNING: Do Not paint in the same area of your tank! The suspended particles of paint in the air, landing in the water will kill the fish. This holds true for ALL types of paint, period!!

I love aquariums, if only they would stay clean. Too much work for my blood but they are awesome to watch.

Here’s the two that keep all manner of creatures at bay.

This is Baby and she’s a weird cat. She doesn’t beg for food and will only eat her cat food. She also can’t meow and I believe her vocal chords are deformed.

Here’s comrade Ivan who just celebrated his ninth year of catching insects and any lizard that dares wonder into the house. He is posing with his Belarusian Spetsnaz badge he was awarded for ninth year in service of the household.

Both of them are pretty good about not jumping on my modeling desk. It took some training but now they know it’s not a place to jump. I keep an empty chair next to me that they can jump on and sleep next to me if they want.

You are lucky! Sammie begs every time when I go in the kitchen. He’s good for dieting. I find myself snacking less just to avoid that nonsense.

Congrats to Ivan on his 9th year of faithful service!
