Real G

I know this thread is a couple of months old, but I came across a photo I took back in 2017 so what the heck.  For those with a weak constitution, this is your cue to avert your eyes.

I rarely take selfies, but when I do I usually am doing something stupid/silly.  This pic was taken on our annual company retreat.  That year we were staying in Kona and were headed out for a snokeling cruise - with lots of rock-n-roll music, hot dogs and burgers on board!  That's why I'm grinning like an idiot.  Today, 2 years and 25 lbs later, I have to dial the tasty stuff back - a lot.

Greg

Thanks for adding you, G. Fun pic.

And thanks for bumping the thread too. I took a second look and enjoyed it just as much the second time around.

How about the Drifters pic?

Still figuring out technical issues I suppose.  Confused

Kinda weird.

Image may contain: 1 personNo door helicopter flight over Oahu and Pearl harbor.  How do I adjust the size of the picture

Wayne,  I suspect the facebook link is the cause of the Photo distortion issue.

The size is easy to fix. When adding the link use 640 as the first "dimension" entry.  That will give you a photo that just fits.No other data needed.  Alternately, click on your photo and you will see white squares at each corner and side.   Click and drag one of the corner squares to make the photo smaller.

As you see I adjusted your photo in the added quote to a smaller size by the dragging method.

That open door policy is a bit exciting when they bank the chopper but you can get great pictures as long as you don't drop the camera.

Hey, feel free to add some shots of PH.

The wife and I took a ride back in '96.  He took us to the top of one of the falls dropping into the ocean. He sat there for a minute or two letting us look at the falls and then did a peel-off going down the side of the falls. All I saw was the large handle on the door I was leaning against with words to the effect "Don't lean on the handle". My wife was leaning against me helping to push me against the door. When we landed, thank goodness, the guy in the office told us the pilot was ex-Nam and did that to everyone. I cancelled the  trip we were to take the next day to another island.

Ok ok, here I am at work. I look far better than I did a year and a half ago.

Steve,

I was able to see some of your photos during your procedure, and sir you look like a million bucks compared to then. It's oustanding to see you so healthy.

Yeah, you look a hundred and one percent better than the hospital photo you posted months ago. Yes

Steve, you look grrrrreat! (think Tony the Tiger here, but you're probably too young to remember).

Your smiling face made my day.

Nope, 58, I remember Tony in B&W just fine. Wink

Mark, nice paint storage.  Built or bought?  I need this so bad.

I bought them from a guy on Etsy.com, called myshelfguy.  He sells them for $30.  I don't know if that's a good price or not, but it was fine for me since I have absolutely no woodworking skills.  They're good quality and unfinished, so you can paint or stain them whatever you want.

M

Cool.  I'll check it out.  Looking at 80 or so model master black tops is NOT helpful!

Thanks,

John

Baron,

I don't believe I was shouting...and as far as amusing that my photo was attached at the time the original post was submitted....I had my photo attached, but after I hit the submit button it came off so I had to work on getting to stay. It wasn't like I was trying to deceive follow members to post their's and then I wasn't. I encountered a minor technical issue to resolve. I believe you are the only one annoyed by this, and if so.....

No annoyance here... but if this is the post you are referring to where your photo is attached, as you can see, it’s a stealth photo...

Now I am curious...

Ya borderline sketchy.

Thanks,

John
