About a year or two ago, I heard that Spielberg (I think) was going to make a mini series similar to Band of Brothers but about the 8th AF. I have not heard anything further on this. Just wondering if it is in pruduction or got thrown into the oval file. Has anyone here heard anything about this?
Supposedly it's an HBO series. The last information I found about it (and that was a reprint of something from 2017) was a year ago. Who knows? But considering the state of Hollywood at this time, I'm not expecting another "Band of Brothers".

It was supposed to be released this year and they have been scouting sites in the UK. Apparently in Liconshire for some reason.
