                        Hello,

                         

                        I am looking to possibly move to an area east of Kansas City, and I of course cannot find anything else other than Hobby Lobby around. Looking for a real model store...does anyone have any experience in the area that they might be able to direct me?

                        Like almost everywhere else...you'll be quite limited.

                        There appears to be a HobbyTown (north/central KC).

                        I have been out of that area for over 15 years now (Leavenworth...the town, not the "hotel"!) There wasn't squat back then either. There was one mom-n-pop shop, out in Lawrence KS, but really wasn't any better than what you'd get with a HobbyTown.

                        There is a Hobby Haven in Overland Park Ks. They have a decent selection of kits and paints. Sprue Brothers is in Liberty, Missouri.
