Flightdecs in Thunder Bay, Ontario...

Has anyone ever purchased from Flightdecs? I am wondering about their quality of service. The website indicates that they only take orders between 6 and 9 pm EST, either by phone or email or snail mail. Any input from anyone will be appreciated. Thanks...

I used to order from him all the time. I used the fax machine at work. Customer service is nonexistant- he never responded to emails with questions. I never tried to call him. Still every order I faxed was serviced promptly and I never got the wrong item.

So frankly I guess what I'm trying to say is I've been really happy with the service I got from him. Just be aware I assume it's a single guy running the company out of his spare bedroom.

I distrust sites like that. I don't know how many times I had to work with such venders and it was just a PIA. Non of them respond, all are dificult to get info from and you never know when of if your order was received or will arrive. It's like going back to the 70's. For pete sake, if your going to run a busniss like this, then make it user frendly. Accept web site orders, take standard forms of payment and for love love of god, answer your emails!

Sorry, they just pi#$ me off.

Gamera, that's what my wife told me, some guy working out of his house/garage for a few hours a day. And Modelcrazy, I'm a little suspect too. With no notification at all, the order can take four weeks or longer to arrive. I know Gamera has been happy with them but I'm going to hold off ordering from them for now. I'm just going to scrounge around here until I find what I need to finish the build. I do appreciate y'all's input. Thanks.

Although it's been a while, I've ordered from Joe and I've never had a problem.  As others have said, he's a one man show and this is a side business.  I'm satisfied with the service I recieved.
