True.  From "The Seventh Seal", "The Greatest Story Ever Told", "Hawaii", "The Exorcist" and an appearance in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens".  A long and varied film career.

But he will always be Ming the Merciless to me.

The Alsatian international hit man Joubert, painting his 54mm figures in "Three Days of the Condor."  Or Old King Osric in "Conan the Barbarian".  Or Lee's lover, the artist Frederick in "Hannah and Her Sisters."

So sad.  But it is the way of the world, that all this shall pass.

The bigger the government, the smaller the citizen.

The Alsatian international hit man Joubert, painting his 54mm figures in "Three Days of the Condor."

My all-time favorite of his roles.

Joubert : "Well, the fact is, what I do is not a bad occupation. Someone is always willing to pay."

Joe Turner : "I would find it... tiring."

Joubert : "Oh, no - it's quite restful. It's almost peaceful. No need to believe in either side, or any side. There is no cause. There's only yourself. The belief is in your own precision."

(One of the great overlooked thrillers in American cinema.)

RIP

Greg
