Sayonara Pneumonia and Covid19
Posted by Tosh on Monday, June 1, 2020 1:55 AM

To my fellow forum members,

You’ve all been very supportive throughout my two bouts of pneumonia and my covid19 situation.  I was able to pull through with your kind and generous hearts, the thought of my family waiting for me to return home, and wanting to see Ezra.

Kudos to the health care workers that cared for me, I did not realize that I had several seizures during my stay at University Hospitals.  I also feel that the antibiotics, prednisone, and albuterol with a concoction of other medications quickly sent me on my merry way.  When my psychologist called, I told him I was vacationing in Santorini and had just returned.  Lol!

What‘s next?  Now that I’m cleared, I’m doing a little cooking and cleaning, making the B-24, building Ezra’s stamp album, and just smell some roses.  Once again, thank you FSM Forum Members, you are all some of the best people I’ve ever known!  Stay safe and be healthy!

Your Friend, Toshi

P.S.  I wanted to add, after all of these issues the only thing that bothers me still is my fall in the kitchen and bathtub.  A knot in my head (Kitchen) and pain in my ribs (Bathtub) Lol!  The two least minor issues still cause me some pain.  In the end it’s all good!

Toshi:

Hey There, You with the reflection of grandchildren in his Eyes. Well, it might not make a good song. But, it's the one I am singing now. Tosh, You, sir are a survivor. The Missus and Ezra needed you and you showed courage and determination. They say that defeating any disease is a full time endeavor that the Body calls for help, the Doctors help the Body, But the mind has to be on board too.

You have been tested and found superior than any lil"ole Bug. God Bless your whole Family. Geez! I am so happy I could dance!

Great to hear Toshi. See I told you so. All we hear from the media is the bad news and never anything positive. My wive's cousin up in Jersey and her husband both tested positive. They both have multiple health issues, overweight and in their late 50s yet they had no symptoms at all and fully recovered without issues. Thousands have recovered yet seldom we hear of the positive news.

Now back to plastics!!

Ain't life Grand? You are so right. The bad news seems to be all that's fit to present in the Media's eyes. I believe part of the problem is the Media. A local team was covering from their vehicle. When they stepped outside, it all went south. It's the presence of cameras.

As far as your family, I understand why you kept it close. I am glad they made it and recovered. You Know I wonder what the national recovery rate is. That hasn't been on the News at all! So with that have a good week okay?  Tankerbuilder

Thanks TB! I believe the recovery rate is in the high 90%’s rate from what reports I have seen.

That's really good to learn, Toshi, I'm glad for you, Mrs.Toshi and Ezra. Be careful moving about, those falls and injuries won't be of any benefit to you.

Are you seeing improvement with the arm issue???? I hope so, it will make everything easier for you.

Be well, Buddy. You're a big part of the enjoyment here on FSM, we all missed seeing your frequent posts while you were away.

Hi Toshi - I am also very glad you have recovered from that awful illness.  I am new here but already your positive attitude and warmth towards others are obvious to me, clearly reciprocated by your fellow forum members.  I hope you also recover soon from your other mishaps, and add my best wishes to those already expressed.

          Take care,

                          Hutch.

This is great news! Reading things like this is great for the old mental state while still cooped up in the house listening to one doomsday story after another in the news. (online, local, and national)

Praise the Lord Jesus! Congrats on your recovery!
