Some years back I had one of his products. Don't remember which one. I think it was a C-46. I give my built models away. May he Rest in Peace

Yes he had a good product line. I think he had a B-32 even.

 Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

As seen on Britmodeller quoting the Monogram FB page, former Monogram designer/engineer Bill Koster has apparently passed away after some time in hospice care. I was briefly acquainted with him through his company Koster Aero Enterprises, an early aftermarket supplier of some very innovative (mainly vac-form) conversion kits in 1/48 scale.

Sincere condolences to his friends and family.
