That guy was always driving a huge Buick police car and sliding it around the sandy roads of California. It was a good TV show for its time.

Yes, it was a good show, and I enjoyed it as a teenager.  I recently saw an episode where he was driving a 1958 Plymouth (or Dodge)  squad car, the most ostentatious car of the day!  Wonderful styling!  Wish I had one now!

Nothing to compare with his '55 Buick Century Model 68! That's the one I'll always associate with that show...as beefy and purposeful as Crawford himself.
