Mancaves-Modeling areas?
Posted by Tanker-Builder on Saturday, October 10, 2020 12:03 PM

Okay;

     I have seen an incredible collection of Mancave photos. Those who have the space, Myself included, should consider ourselves very fortunate. How about the poster who builds, obviously in his car? And large scale sailing ships at that!

    Talk about modeling fever! I consider myself very fortunate to have had a version of all those spaces during my 67 years of modeling. And a work area about the size of a three car garage in a Model Studio. They did Architectural and Ground display models. I did very large Models for Attorney's for Personal Injury cases!

    We had a wall between the two sections of the studio so the workers there were always looking at my stuff through the windows and Vice -Versa. This proves my long held theory. Man can Model even in a Cave! With Bad light and Rain. We're driven to! No wonder some in this world think we are weird! Thinking on that, Does anyone know if NOAH did a builders model?

Apparently Noah did build a model, but the Heavenly Committe for Livestock and Shipping are still meeting about it.

I long to live in a world where chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned

We have a four bedroom house, and our kids are all gone now, so we have converted two bedrooms to dens now, one for me and one for my wife.  I have my computer there, a desk, and my library.  However, I do not model there.

I have a basement workshop, with my model making desk in it, plus some power tools and other benches.  It is a mess now, maybe I will feel like taking a pic when I get it cleaned up-cleanup to wait till I get a few outside projects done before snow comes.
